Software Operation
Exam4 does not access any data on the laptop other than the data created by the act of taking an exam.
Exam4 blocks access to certain operations during an exam to enforce security policies specified by the law school.
Exam4 monitors activity the student engages in while taking an exam and creates an encrypted log report for evidentiary purposes.
All blocking and monitoring is only in effect during the creation of an exam. The log report and exam content are the only data transmitted from the laptop when the user submits an exam. The reports are only accessed at the express request of the law school exam administrator for purposes of ensuring security compliance.
